"Katy was assigned to us via Zillow when we requested a tour of a property. We did not expect much from a random assignment but she turned out to be a great choice. It has been an extremely hard time for home buyers after Covid-19 due to the high price, high interest rate, low inventory, and high competition in the market, especially in California. As a first-time home buyer, we are not financially strong to compete with investors. Every offer we made quickly became part of a bidding war and we had to spend a lot of time researching and discussing the strategy to make a good offer in just 1 or 2 days. Katy did a great job in explaining to us the steps in the home-buying process, the contingencies, and whether we should waive the contingencies for every house we bid. She always puts our interest on top, and avoid pushing us to take risk to win the bidding war. She didn't mind waiting when we needed time to think or working late at night or during the holiday if we needed to send an offer or cancel an offer we made. For every house we targeted, she tried anything she could to acquire valuable information to help us bid at a reasonable price.After several tries, we finally got an offer accepted which we didn't even believe. We had a short closing time frame but Katy managed to arrange for a home inspection quickly with an experienced inspector at a price better than what we could find. She also referred us to a loan officer at a local credit union who did a great job as well to get the loan application approved in 10 days. We couldn't thank Katy enough for her support and patience to accompany us on the long and difficult journey to get our first home. We are very happy with our new home and with Katy as our realtor."
