Success!
San Diego's #1 Real Estate Team
Not #1 because we say so—because the San Diego Business Journal audited the numbers and we came out on top. For 10 of the last 12 years. This is what happens when two of the county's most successful team leaders decide to build something neither could create alone.
Kyle Whissel, Co-leader
Kyle wasn't groomed for real estate. He was scooping popcorn at an AMC Theatre, running contests to outsell everyone behind the concession stand. That competitive drive never went away.
At 20, while selling car stereos, his dad pushed him to buy a property. He made $17,000 in three months. The math was obvious. He got licensed in 2002 and five years later launched Whissel Realty Group.
Fifteen years later, the team has never had a single down year. Not through the foreclosure crisis. Not through COVID. Not through any market shift.

Daniel Beer, President
Dan was a financial accountant at BAE Systems in Los Angeles—and miserable. He quit, moved back to San Diego, and joined his dad's manufacturing business. The daily border crossing to Tijuana wasn't much better.
In 2005, Dan's father needed to sell a house. Dan got licensed to help with that one transaction. "It was the only easy sale I ever made," he laughs. But he went full-time from that day forward.
Beer Home Team became a four-time Inc. 5000 honoree. But the award Dan treasures most? SDBJ Best Places to Work. "You can't fake that one."
— Daniel Beer
October 2025
Kyle and Dan first met around 2011 at a meeting with a media company looking to sign top San Diego agents. Over the next decade, they became friends. Then partners—co-founding Fast Forward Movement, a coaching organization that now serves 13,000+ agents nationwide.
Dan raised the question first: we've worked together for eight years at Fast Forward. What would it look like if we worked together in our sales business too?
The logic was simple: they were building virtually identical companies side by side. Why not combine forces and multiply what's possible?
